Hi,

I try to build WinCDEmu.
but, indicate some errors.

I think some header file not reading.
Could you tell me, Visual Studio's tools/option/ VC++Directory include and lib Path.

Thanks,

You need BazisLib for that. It comes with automatic installer, so all paths will be set up automatically.
P.S. The only answer to the question " some header file not reading" could be "you should add something somewhere". Next time, please specify the exact error message, so I can provide a real answer, not just a guess :D

So, Thanks.

I use Visual Studio 2008 Express Edition. I think, It wrong for BazisLib-2.3.1.exe say
Setting up BazisLib...
---------------------------
Downloading and unpacking OpenSSL 0.9.8k...
Building OpenSSL...
OpenSSL build failed. Consider rebuilding it manually.
Downloading and unpacking WTL...
Installing WTL wizards...
C:\OpenSource\WTL\AppWiz\setup80.js exited with code 0
C:\OpenSource\WTL\AppWizMobile\setup80.js exited with code 0
Downloading and unpacking patched STLPort...
Updated Visual Studio include and library directories
Building and installing Project Wizard...
Visual Studio 2008 is required for building Project Wizard
---------------------------
BazisLib setup completed with some problems.

But, I think Its OK, because, I can manual install and some setting to Visual Studio.
But I did not go so well.
BTW. I have a plan. I get Visual Stdio 2008(not Express). I will try it, next time.

Thanks,

Visual Studio Express does not support building ATL applications. So, some user-mode parts of BazisLib and some other stuff will not be functional. Otherwise, should work.

Hi,

I get Visual Studio 2008(90 days Evaluation version).
I use BazisLib-2.2.1(not 2.3.1) and WDK 7600.16385.0 on Windows 7 x64.
I these files they were able build as BazisVirtualCD.sys(x64), VirtDiskBus.sys(x64), vmnt.exe (x64) and uninstall.exe (x86).
Thank you, so much. :D BazisLib do automatic setting. My fault, I use BazisLib-2.3.1. ;)

BTW, I think nothing installer source code. It name WinCDEmu-2.3.exe. Could you tell me, Where is it?

I did not release the sources of the installer program, as it uses some old not-very-well-written code and has even more dependencies, than BazisLib. I suggest using some other free installer for your custom builds. If you really want to use the original one, I can send you the toolkit for compiling installation scripts and building the EXE, however, got to warn you, it is not very user-friendly :-)

Thanks, your reply. :D

It's OK. I can try make original Installer and
I will put the my digital sign on the program and device drivers.
When it goes well, I will report again.

It may be shareware(not free. because you know, digital sign is very expensive).

Thanks,

Just ensure that you don't violate BazisLib and WinCDEmu license...
